TENSEGRITY |
In practice there are not many tensegrity structures that can be used as building block or brick. But in this picture you see 15 bricks. The bricks are truncated tetrahedrons that can be knit together and repeated indefinitely in all three directions. In case of normal bricks, every brick is right next to other one, but in this case the tetrahedrons are partly in the surrounding tetrahedrons. That explains the the high density of struts in the structure.
